The coastline of Cornwall is made up of stunning cliffs, golden beaches, historic ports and harbours, plus some amazing wildlife.
A kayak offers a unique opportunity to explore all this in a safe way within the club environment. Various club trips are organized throughout the year which cater for all levels of experience. These are all led by our team of BC qualified club coaches.
Saturday 26th September Porthpean
All abilities, all paddlers,

10am to 2pm
Club night but on a Saturday morning,
Parking in field as numbers allow,
The sheds will be open and club kit available,
Play, practice, paddle, games, try different boats, anything goes,
Come for an Hour or all 4,
Bring lunch make a morning of it,

Winter Pool Sessions 2026

Weekly sessions from 3 November 2026 to 23 February 2027.
Membership
You must be a St Austell Canoe Club member to attend pool sessions.
If you are not already a member, you can purchase a Pool Membership at a reduced rate, which allows you to book and attend sessions. Please check that spaces are available before purchasing a Pool Membership.
Booking
You can book as many sessions as you wish.
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Each person must make and pay for their own booking. You can use the same email address for family members.
Bookings are non-refundable, but you can transfer a booking to another club member.
Children
Children must be in Academic Year 6 or above.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or other known adult, who must remain at the pool but does not need to paddle.
Cost & payment
£17.50 per session, payable via PayPal.
You do not need a PayPal account to pay. Payments are processed securely through the PayPal website.
Venue information
The site barrier code is included in your recent Pool Information email.
The resort's spa, bar, children's play area and pool viewing area will be available to us, so non-paddling partners are welcome and can enter free of charge.
Boats & equipment
Kayaks, paddles and spray decks are provided at the venue. Do not bring your own kayak.

Venue: Caffa mill Fowey
This years night paddle will be caffa mill Fowey
Parking at Caffa Mill is £1.30 for 1hour and free after 1600.
Saturday 24Oct.
Park at 1500.
On the water by 1530. "SHARP"
Arrive Lerryn 1630.
Eat 1700.
Depart 1800.
Back at Caffa Mill 1900.
So it will be going dark as we paddle back.
the usual boat decorations are welcome,
glow sticks, fairy lights, etc,
No white lights on the water,
The meal will be at the Ship Inn, please see the menu and attendance choice on face book
